INSTAGRAM REEL TIPS AND TRICKS!
Are you new to Instagram Reels?
We have a few tips and tricks that can help you get started…
First, let’s start with where you create your reel.
Go to your profile and tap that circled button on the top right-hand corner. It’ll give you multiple options including post, reel, story, story highlight, IGTV Video, Live, or Guide. Select Reel!
This page will appear and this is where your reel “process” begins!
Instagram allows you to be extremely creative and make your reels customizable to you with many available options. Here are a few to get you started!
Adjust your video length with a simple tap.
Don’t worry about fitting in all of your content in 15 shorts seconds. Instagram allows you to adjust your video length with this feature.
Keep camera settings
at your preferred side.
Tap the settings button on the top left corner of your “reels screen.” It’ll bring you to this camera settings page where you can select your better side.
Let’s face it…. we all have a “good side.”
Clip your music precisely
Tap the music symbol to start adding audio to your reel!
Instagram will suggest a list of music from you to choose from or search at the top for a specific song!
Once you’ve selected your music of choice, start and end your music where YOU want by using the slider tool at the bottom of your page.
Add your reel to your story
You can do this after your reel has been posted! Start by tapping your reel on your profile.
Then tap the little arrow under the post next to the heart and comment bubble.
Click “Add to your Story”
And click “Your Story” to publish and that’s it! Now you’re all set to share your beautiful work with your friends & family!
Aaaaand if you’re looking to get extra fancy, tap that circled buton at the top of your story to add any emojis or a hashtag!
